About the Opportunity

Ecofor is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in our Fort St. James, Fort St. John or Prince George offices. Candidates working from their home within British Columbia and Alberta will be considered.

This is a Full-Time Hourly position with a wage range of $29.00 – $34.60 per hour, depending on experience. The expected start date will be February 18, 2025.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting Project Manager(s) to successfully implement projects to completion.
  • Tracking project budgets and KPIs.
  • Preparing budgetary summaries for review by Project Manager(s).
  • Document control (including templated form submission and report revisions tracking).
  • Communicating with First Nations governments and the BC provincial government to provide notifications of scheduled work.
  • Communicating with external subcontractors, as needed.
  • Coordinating and communicating with First Nations subcontractors.
  • Coordinating bookings (hotels/camps/travel/helicopter/monitors etc.) for field shifts.
  • Making travel arrangements for field crews.
  • Communicating project updates to management team.
  • Supporting the Project Manager(s)/management team by completing additional tasks as required.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and working collaboratively within Ecofor’s corporate culture

Qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in project coordination/management and office procedures is required.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, desire to grow business, and work closely with other environmental professionals and team leads.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Word).

Due to the nature of the role, you must have a valid Driver’s License.
